White

( Top Pair: A.P.C. at Barneys, Bottom Pair: Levis Made & Crafted at Barneys)

This season its all about going against the typical rules of fashion and being rebellious! Usually fall makes us wear darker colors and neutrals but all I am seeing this season is jewel tones, muted neons, and whites. I think its a good idea to rock a pair of white denim in the fall. Throw on a cool navy blue trench or even a deep wine colored sweater. Don't be scared to go against the grain this season, thats what fashion is all about!

Casual Friday

(Vintage tee & hat: James Grant, Denim Shirt: WGACA, Kicks: Nike)

My friend and I decided to be well, brats in CVS tonight. Running around and taking funny pictures and some more fashionable ones. This outfit is so fun and easy. I personally love rocking a canadian tux. Here I decided to do dark on light denim. The contrasts from dark to light are really fun and funky. Plus the vintage Israeli Disney shirt makes it even more exciting. And to top it off, some bright ass nike kicks. Love the cobalt blue and its a great color for fall winter this season!

Autumn

( Jacket: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Button Up: Burkman Bros, Vintage Tee: WGACA, Denim: J Brand, Boots: Maison Martin Margiela)

Its starting to feel a lot like fall here in New York and I am loving it! Being able to rock out my boots and leather jackets make me so happy! I love that here in New York I don't look crazy in boots and a leather jacket like I use to in San Diego. I know its breaking "fashion rules" by wearing shades of black and brown together but I honestly love it. You have to know how to mix it properly but I am never against it. Fashion is all about experimenting and now that the seasons are changing there is no better time to have some fun with your wardrobe!

F.T.W

Its starting to feel a lot like fall here in NYC. Kind of excited about it because now boots and leather jackets can be added into my looks! Here is my first leather look of the season. Loving the Carven jacket. Its so versatile for all looks from some skinny jeans to even a cool skinny pair of chinos. The rest of the outfit is all purchased inArgentina so sorry to my followers who cant find these items in retailers near you but I'm sure there great options out there for this kind of look out there. Enjoy!

Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 13' Runway Show

Yesterday evening I attended Rachel Zoe's S/S 13' runway show. The collection was by far her best. Her use of black and white is off the charts. She also knows how to incorporate the styles of the 60's and 70's so well in her collection. The clothing was so effortlessly stylish. Her collection is sold at almost every department store in the country so definitely go by and check out her fall12 collection but, for now, we can only be inspired by her s/s13 look and pray for summer to get here sooner!

NYFW Last Day Look

My date for the evening.

This is my last outfit for the the final day of Fashion Week. I didnt go to a couple of the other days because I was sick with a cold (no one looks fashionably ill). But I had to be 100% healthy for the Spring/Summer 2013 Rachel Zoe Collection fashion show at Lincoln Center. The collection was amazing (I'll show you outfits in another post). But lets get back to my outfit. I had to get these amazing Church's shoes today. The plaid detailing is to die for. I decided to go with that color combination in the whole look. Sometimes all you need is one item to build your whole look from.

This time tomorrow : Krystal rocking the Rhino Dress

I am loving all of Patricia Chang's looks here at Lincoln Centers Fashion Week. She is so amazing when it comes to detail like the great patches on the chic coat (which she has on) and the super intricate rhino patterned dress. She is by far one of the nicest designers I have ever meet as well she not only told me about her line but introduced me to super blogger Krystal from this time tomorrow. Who of course was very kind. I cant wait to see all the other cool looks at fashion week. And check out both of their sites!

Chanel on Chanel on Chanel

Now this is for the ladies. Last night at the What Goes Around Comes Around Fashion's Night Out event all this amazing vintage Chanel jewelry was on display. WGACA has a wide selection of items from vintage couture to classic rock tees. They even have their own amazing vintage inspired clothing line thats the bomb! To make this night even more amazing then it already was, Whitney Port from The Hills, Kelly Catrone from Peoples Revolution (She runs Fashion Week by the way), and the designers of WGACA. Such an amazing night and cant wait for the rest of fashion week!

Inspiration of the Day

I found this guy Malo-X (rad fucking name!) at Lincoln Center wearing one of the coolest outfits I've seen. It was head to toe vintage and I for one am a vintage sucker! The head scarf to me is the coolest part of his outfit. Brought all the way over from Africa this scarf is just genius to the whole look. Love this look and cant wait to find some more outfits to get inspired by!!
